I bought this to keep my hands and feet soft. Workd very well, also works well on my face if I keep it away from the oily area right around my nose. If I rub it in pretty well it is not greasy.

Love the fact that it stays on and penetrates deeply. When other creams would not clear up dry patches, this did. Recommend it.

The pure lanolin I ordered was just as I expected it to be, and much cheaper than the brands available in stores near me, even with the shipping charges. It is an excellent product at an excellent price.

I've used lanolin for years to handle cracked and sore skin on my feet. If I go barefoot for a day, or walk around in my stocking feet and/or slippers for a few days my feet get so bad from the cracked, brittle skin and splits to the flesh that I hobble. Sorry - but that's how it gets - and its a problem summer and winter. Lanolin fixes it. I can go barefoot all summer if I lay in a good supply, and in the winter when I frequently don't go outside for days at a stretch, I can stay in my slippers.
The key is 100% lanolin - with a consistency like axle grease and a smell that's not bad for someone who grew up rural. Lanolin is useful for all sorts of things on a farm. For me the smell is reminiscent more than it is a bother and it doesn't last long after application.
NOW Pure Lanolin Oil is exactly what it says it is: 100% pure lanolin. NOW doesn't hedge on their promises to provide 100% natural products and when they say it's 100% pure, they mean exactly that. Also, NOW doesn't test on animals.
As far as price is concerned - I'm sure I could find a cheaper source of lanolin, but the assurance of purity that comes with NOW products and the ability to get it quickly from Amazon makes it the right price for me.

Feels like very thick vaseline - but smells like sheep (total waste of money - unless you don't mind smelling like a sheep).
