great lotion but not as smooth as I expected. this is a great size though for the price.

Very good body lotion and lasts all day! For winter, I mix the lotion with my favorite body oil and it makes a big difference against the cold.

I have people all the time ask me what hand lotion I use. I then give them a gift of Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion. I was out one time and was using other lotions I had around the house and couldn't figure out why my hands didn't feel right. Wow...I wasn't using Alba. I will never go without it again. I also use it on my face..works great there also. The scented smells good but then I couldn't use it on my face.

I USED to love this lotion. I have used it for a while with no problems. However, I recently purchased a bottle from a local health store. Very soon after I applied it to my skin, my skin started to burn and turn bright red. I was shocked, because this had never happened to me when using the Alba Very Emollient Unscented lotion. I since have been reading reviews on several sites, and this seems to be a common problem recently.
If they changed the formula, they obviously didn't test it on too many people before releasing it. If they didn't change the formula, they now have a major manufacturing issue. I just wish I still had an old bottle so I could compare the ingredients. I do NOT recommend purchasing this lotion until ALBA has resolved this issue!!

This Very emollient lotion is actually a different newer batch dated 2007 witch has a different mixture and new ingredients. It caused a bad red very sunburn like reaction in me. I have used this same lotion for years with no problems. Too bad I really did like the prior mix.
Lots of reports from others just like mine on the internet. Returned my order.
