5 out of 5 stars They are ok   September 8, 2010
Cary Penrod (utah)
I have tried several different kinds of Dish Washer detergent, as I am sure we all have! I read the reviews on these, and everyone seemed so impressed. I am not so much! I mean they are ok, just like a lot of other products of this nature. But I don't see the difference everyone else did in there reviews. I still need to add JetDry to my washer to keep my dishes from having the white film left over. And it says no more rinsing before putting them in, I have found my dishes are not as clean and I am having to send them back through a few times.

5 out of 5 stars No Softener Required   September 1, 2010
D. Hartzell (WA United States)
Until trying this, we had experimented with 3 other varieties of detergent including both liquids and powders. None worked for us. After 2 times with the other products, our glasses were white and hazy and needed to be hand washed to get clean. We were resigned to hand washing until we could purchase and install a water softener. So we would only use the dishwasher when we had company.

My wife saw these and decided to try them. They work great. We can use our dishwasher over and over... like anyone expects to. The only things that come out a little funny are kettles; sometimes they build up a little whiteness, maybe because they dry faster.

Take note that you shouldn't put anything too high near your dispenser, or the Pac won't drop out.

We tried another Cascade Pac with Dawn and we were getting some tiny particles of detergent remaining that you could feel on the surface of the dishes. So we went back to these and everything is good again.

We always keep our rinse aid full in addition, in case anyone wondered if that was our problem.

5 out of 5 stars not just clean, it's Cascade   August 13, 2010

As someone that has used Electrasol or Quantum or Finnish or Diamond or whatever ludicruis name they are going by this week for the last 10 years I can wholeheartedly say that Cascade-all-in-1 is a thousand times better!!!

I just started using Cascade-all-in-1 within the past week and I cannot believe the difference. I have used it to clean dinnerware, flatware, pots, pans and even bakeware and serving dishes and it is perfect. It pre-rinses, soaks and cleans everything precisely. There is this shine that I am seeing on my plates, it's as if they're smiling back at me.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to finally have a dishwashing tablet that actually does what it's supposed to do; clean!! Because Electrasol is just plain lousy and they have only gotten worse and worse over recent months while their price is creeping up higher and higher. Nothing ever comes out clean enough with Electrasol, I often have to clean everything by hand again and it's just a huge waste of time. What's the purpose of buying it if it doesn't do what it's supposed to?

There is no residue with Cascade-all-in-1, there are no streaks, and there are not soggy or wetter-than-normal plastic items. It just gets everything perfect.

Another big selling feature for me is that the Cascase-all-in-1 balls do NOT stick together. Electrasol often and always stuck together which would get messy because the plastic outer coating would sometimes tear as I pried them apart. But Cascade has a slick outer layer that does not adhere to anything else.

I have a brand-new GE dishwasher but I understand that Cascade-all-in-1 will work with any dishwasher. I also use a little Turbo Dry with it which I am noticing is getting my dishes dryer than when I used Electrasol with it, but I may cut that out in the future if Cascade works well without it.

The price for Cascade-all-in-1 is exceptional. It is considerably less than Electrasol (at least 25% less). You really do get more balls for your money with Cascade.
